Teacher Training: Adelaide April 2016 Intake PROGRESS!

Our April 2016 Adelaide teacher training has already been life changing for us. We have met some absolutely amazing and inspiring women… and it has been a huge pleasure working with each and every one of them. This is our biggest group yet (10 trainees!), which has meant a lot of fun, laughs and new friendships!

Even at the halfway two-week mark, we had already covered so much ground. The trainees were learning about posture correction, sequence delivery and the power of setting an intention.

Learning about Savasana or taking a well-deserved break? Or both…?

Since then, we have covered so many different areas including yoga philosophy, yoga anatomy, mindfulness and the different states of meditation. The trainees are getting fitter and more confident by the day and we are seeing some major progress and breakthroughs!

This past weekend we were lucky enough to get some lovely sunny weather down at Glenelg beach, where we held one of our teacher training sessions for Saturday. We also managed to squeeze in an AcroVinyasa performance, much to the delight of the trainees (and everyone else walking by!). It was great to have some fun with our trainees while soaking up some sun!

We are so excited for this group of young women – soon to be very inspiring and knowledgeable yoga teachers. Knowing that we have been a part of creating this road for them is a huge honour. We cannot wait for these future instructors to be released into the yoga community!

Graduation day is getting closer – so stay tuned!
