After a big first week of classes, we wanted to touch base with new PPHY Glen Osmond Studio Owner, Kirsty, on how she’s feeling about the new space and the many, many new students she’s met over the past few days!

Yoga teacher, Srey, took the first EVER class at the new studio (no pressure or anything, Srey!).
“Srey took a lovely hot vinyasa for the first class,” says Kirsty, “it was a great way to start our studio life, as she brings different elements of pilates, tai chi, hatha, meditation and pranayama into her classes — we are so lucky to have her on board!”
Even after the first class, the new studio was already receiving lots of positive feedback and support.
“Students said they felt really refreshed after the hot class,” explains Kirsty, “throughout the week we have also had students reporting a clearer mind and a better sleep!”
Suz:
“We’re so impressed with the new Glen Osmond studio — it looks fantastic! Well done to Kirsty for all she has achieved so far!”
The studio also offers warm restorative classes of the hatha variety, and these have been eagerly welcomed by the new PPHY Glen Osmond studio community.
“It has been great to see absolute beginners surprising themselves and enjoying the class,” says Kirsty, “We have had lots of students sign up that are experiencing yoga for the first time in their lives. My aim is to bring yoga to everyone, regardless of ability, body or age, so this is really encouraging feedback!”
Our PPHY studios are always popular for their welcoming vibes and relaxed atmosphere — all of our studios across Australia enjoy a strong sense of community and friendship, as well as top quality yoga. The new Glen Osmond studio is already starting to experience this — with “regulars” already coming through the doors!
“It is lovely to see regular faces and personalities coming through,” says Kirsty, “I hope to meet every student personally, but it will take a while! We are having an opening event with our new students and teachers soon (stay tuned) so that will be a lovely opportunity for everyone to get to know each other better.”
“My aim is to bring yoga to everyone, regardless of ability, body or age!”

The word is getting around about the Glen Osond studio, with classes gaining more and more student numbers with each class. Kirsty believes this is a huge credit to her Glen Osmond teaching staff. “I am so impressed at just how wonderful all the teachers are,” she says, “They are all amazing instructors – so supportive and professional. I really want to thank them all for being such fantastic yogis who all embody that caring, giving, open attitude that comes with the yoga lifestyle and mindset.”
Kirsty is excited for the studio’s future and feels that her amazing team of instructors and new students will help to build a space that nourishes and supports the surrounding community. “I feel very strongly that we will work together and bring yoga to the world in a braoder capacity.” She is also currently doing a kids yoga course and plans to do a pregnancy and hypnobirthing training, so that she can bring more variety to the studio timetable. Watch this space!
